Akhoyan Galust Tsolakovich

Galust Akhoyan is a member of the ruling United Russia party, chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly Fiscal Policy and Finance Committee.  

Galust Akhoyan was born in the city of Kirovakan (the Armenian SSR) on 14 February, 1956.

From 1974 to 1976, he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR in the Primorsky Territory (special service).

In 1983 he graduated with honor from Vladivostok State Medical Institute.

From 1983 to 1985, he trained in clinical residency at Vladivostok State Medical Institute.

From 1986 to 1988, he was a surgeon at Regional Physical Therapy Clinic.

From 1988 to 2004, he was a head of some businesses.

From 2004 to 2006, he was deputy of the Vladivostok city duma, where he chaired Standing Commission on Economic Policy and Municipal Property.

From 2006 to 2011, he was deputy of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly, electoral district № 3, chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly Fiscal Policy and Finance Committee. 

On 4 December, 2011, he was elected as deputy of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly, electoral district № 15. On 16 December, he was elected as chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly Fiscal Policy and Finance Committee. 

In 2014, he was awarded with Certificate of Honor of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

On 18 September, 2016, he was elected as deputy of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly on the list of the Primorsky regional department of United Russia political party. On 5 October, he was elected as chairman of the Primorsky Krai Legislative Assembly Fiscal Policy and Finance Committee.  

Galust Akhoyan has become a member of the ruling United Russia party since 2003. He has a wife and three daughters.
