13.12.2016 Boxer from Nakhodka Nikita Chirvon was included to the national team after winning at the Russian Championship
The prestigious competition was held in the city of Anapa. The best athletes aged 14-15 from around the country competed for medals. 200 boxers were divided by 13 weight categories. The main goal of the sporting event was to form the national boxing team for 2017.
The 15-year-old Nikita Chirvon (75 kg) held three fights. In the final, he gained victory over the experienced rival Mansur Nikerkhoyev from Belgorod, the European champion-2014 among young boys. Nikita was the only representative of the Russian Far East who had won gold medal at the Russian Championship. Among those athletes competed for awards also were guys from Khabarovsky and Kamchatsky regions, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya), Sakhalinskaya oblast.
Nikita’s has been training with his coach Gleb Ustyuzhanin for already seven years. Nikita has its own fighting-style, which is very powerful with a knockout punch. Boxer from Nakhodka is a winner of the Russian Championship (Sevastopol, June 2015), the European Championship among schoolchildren (Anapa, November, 2015), the International Sports Games “Children of Asia” (Yakutsk, June 2016).
