27.12.2016 Nakhodka has exceeded the goal set for the autumn call-up
It is worth noting that young men have high motivation for deciding to serve in the Army. According to head of Nakhodka Department of the Primorsky Krai Military Commissariat Rafail AKHMETOV, 165 young men aged 18-27 from the city district will serve in the Russian army, five men more than it was set by the plan of the Russian Federation Armed Forces General Staff. Last group of young men left for the regional recruitment center on 20 December. Nakhodka’s military commissar noted that by the moment of receiving call-up paper most recruits had a clear view about service in the army and asked to send them to specified arms of the service such as Land Forces, Air Forces and Navy as well as Strategic Missile Troops or Strategic Rocket Forces.
Most of the recruits will stay serving in the Far East (Kamchatka, Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands). Members of the city draft board made an individual decision for each person taking into account preferences of young men.
We would remind you that the new recruits were selected by the city draft board consisted from specialists of the city administration’s Education Department, local department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs and medical workers. Head of the draft board is deputy head of the Nakhodka city administration Oleg SERGANOV.
